The aluminum rear wheel cylinders?

You can't hone aluminum as it was anodized from the factory to seal and
harden the bores. Aluminum is too porous and soft in its natural state
without the hardening process and it will score quickly.

Since it's your brakes don't mess up or be cheap. Get 'em sleeved.
