Hey listers, SEROCers -
Yep, time for Road Atlanta!! YEEEE HAAAAA!!!! and I need a break! April
26th - 28th.
Hopefully, I plan on heading out Friday and staying with my brother. I
should be at the track by mid morning. If not I will leave Saturday morning
and get there before lunch. Anyone want to caravan from north AL?
We meet at the bluff overlooking turns 10. www.roadatlanta.com has
directions to the track. When you get there go into the infield, stay
right, go down the hill and back up. You should see Roadsters. From here
we can move - maybe invade Richards camp site:)
The tire burger burn will start noonish. Mike and myself will bring grills
and fire. I need volunteers for the following. Hamburger (I will bring
some, but may need more), chips, buns, toppings, extra drinks. It would be
great if you pick one thing to bring and let me know.
After the races on Saturday, we will meet at the Applebee's in Gainesville.
Lets shoot for 5:00, but that is open. Some will need to check in at their
hotels. Directions - no clue! Just follow the Roadsters or do the manly
thing and have your wife ask at the gas station:) We will have dinner and
talk Roadsters until we get kicked out.
Meet back on at the track Sunday morning - 9:00ish and run on the parade
laps. Hey, I got new tires - watch out turns 10! We usually head home
about 11:00 or so.
It is looking like a record turn out!! It truly is a wonderful Roadster
weekend. Great cars and great friends!!
If anyone needs a place to stay let me know. My brother has some room and
you are very welcome. His house is about an hour from the track, but the
price is right.
Hey Solvang crowd - lets try for the first cross country Roadster meet.
Give us a cell number and we will call Saturday and give a big Roadster
