The left door on my car has several broken welds around the rear of the
door at the top, and a stress crack between the vent window and mirror.
I have decided to put my parts car door in its place, which only has the
stress crack.
The hinges are easy to remove if I am careful not to break the bolts
off, but there is also a metal bar to limit the door swing when you open
it. How do I remove that strap from the car and reinstall it when I put
the new door on?
