According to most sources, the 1964 model year with dual carbs started with
SPL310 00501. We have SPL310 00506. According to California, this car was
first registered in April 1963. I know that model years don't necessarily
follow the calendar, but I read a Road & Track article from July '63 stating
that a dual carb setup was on the horizon.
Any ideas one this discrepancy? I would love to track the history of the
car. Are there any resources out there?
