electrical prob update

well know i feel like an idiot. i let the wire cool down and then put the
fuse back in. i now have my clock, lights, and heater fan again. starter
still clicks. think the battery is shot? i have asked allot of it since i
got the car. i will take it checker tomorrow to have them test it. do you
think the wire could have been hot because of the jumpstarting?
