Went to drive the Roadster for the first time in a while and I have no spark!
I tested everything I can think of. I have about 12 volts at the wire going
to the condenser on the distributor, and to the points when open. I have
about 12 volts going to the + side on the coil. I get no spark when I have
the key turned to ON and I manually open the points.
I've replaced the points, condenser, rotor, and cap. I've replaced the coil
wire and the coil itself with spares that I had lying around, but I don't know
if either is good.
How do I test the coil itself? Shouldn't I get a little spark at the points
when I open them with the key on? Should the coil wire show an open line, or
should it show connectivity? What else should I look for?
