hi gary...
yea... tried one of those... 
but it always came loose from the vibration...
i wound up getting a 67 corvette - chrome round knob (i paid about 15 bucks at
corvette central) then wraped my shifter with tephlan tape(spelling)...
flipped the knob upside down... insert the shifter and filled the cavity with
jb weld...
i let it set over night and then unscrewed the shifter and reinstalled it on
the tranny...
works great so far =]
