Back on list after long absence.
Wife was driving my 69 2000 a few days ago . . . reported there was a puff of
smoke from the dash area . . . and everything went dead. Engine stopped,
starter wouldn't work, no lights, no horn, etc.
I have done some limited troubleshooting . . . replaced two fuses in the fuse
box. Have noted that I do have power to the top, left hand wire going into
the fuse box.
Is there a fusable link somewhere under the dash . . . or some other likely
cause?
