Ok I need help
I took out my fuel tank and got it cleaned, when I installed
it back in the car the
fuel gage was at full mark when the ignition is off. When on
it moves to empty.
I switch the wire at the fuel sending unit it fixed the
problem. but I filled up the tank
and the gage only moves up to a quarter tank. it was working
fine before I took out the tang
to get it cleaned.
2nd problem the fuel filter does not maintain any gas in it.
I believe it should be at least
half way full right. the car will start and run but it wont
ideal for long, and the carbs gets filled with gas and
dumps through the overflow line. still the same sending unit
that was in the tank before getting it cleaned.
worked fine before.
