All the 240s I owned had metric studs.
Ordering lug nuts depends on the manufacturer of the wheels. The wheels on
my Roadster are the same as yours - slot wheels a/k/a kidney bean wheels.
However mine are Appliance wheels that use a uni-lug lug which was designed
to accommodate different lug patterns.
I would bring a wheel or lug to a speed shop as there are many different
type of lugs with 7/16th threads. They can order the correct lug from McGard
or Gorilla. There are short and long lugs and lugs with different diameters.
