These measurements are from center of eyelet to shoulder of stud on the shock
----KG5447 Extended length 19.090" / 11.810 "Compressed. Original KG5525
Extended length 17.090" compressed 10.700" I got these out of a old KYB Tech
Spec manuel there seems to be a difference of 1.110" Implicating reduced
travel if you use the KG5447 in the apllication for the roadster. Trucks
obviously will be different, but if you guys say this works I won't agrue the
point. Dean

I based my final decision on Matt Silvey's recommendation on his web site.
The 5447 actually have more travel than the originals - they were listed for
the Datsun pickup applications. From having them installed on my chassis
with comp springs and having a couple buddies jump up and down on the back
of the frame, it didn't appear that there was any chance they'd bottom out -
with the bump stops bottomed the shocks sitll had ways to go. I just
checked back with Matt , since he has driving experience with em. Matt said
he's had them on his car for quite some time and never had any issues.

easily bottomed out the shock even with new rear springs on his late year
roadster. Don't no if it's entirely true or not. Has anyone checked this? I
would like some imput. Dean
