I would never claim that WaterWetter is a miracle cure. It helps
some. I think we fixed the real problem by back flushing the radiator. But the
little extra that it adds will not hurt anything and should help some.
When I was having overheating problems with my Big Ugly Truck I tried
WaterWetter. It was not terminally overheating, it would stabalize about
230-240 F. About as hot as you dare let it get. With the WaterWetter it would
stabalize about 210-220 F, still hot but noticably less. So if you have a major
problem it will not save you. As it turns out the top tank of my radiator was
full of blue worms, excess permatex that had squeezed out when the PO had
worked
on the engine. After cleaning them out and a normal rod out and cleaning it
runs about 190 F with a 185 F thermostat.
