Hi all!
I just purchased my first parts car, a 68 1600.
Actually, it WAS a parts car, I just have a few bones
that are left. The previous owner had already taken
the interior, doors, hood, trunk lid, top, tank,
grill, chrome. I expect the frame, front fenders, and
center section of the body will be left when I am
done. Floor boards look OK.
Makes me sad to see that it couldn't have been
restored as the previous owner said the engine and
frame numbers matched.
It came with a 1600 block that had been disected to
discover what was wrong with it. Looks like the rings
stuck to the walls and broke apart when it was turned
over. I don't have any use for it. Anyone in the
Seattle area interested in the block?
I have the title.
