So, if I have to remove the windshield frame to replace the seal, I might as
well get it rechromed now if I can afford it.

Any chrome shop recommendations in the Seattle-Tacoma area?

What does BTDT stand for?

All the seals will require removal of the windshield frame.

Also, if anyone has the frame rechromed, be sure they don't warp it in the
process. The heat of the chroming process can warp it so much that the glass
no longer fits. BTDT.
