I have had the same experience with DUNLOPS as well, but I continue to use 
them anyway.  They look so damn'd BRITISH.  Two years ago I won a set of 
HOOSIERS in a USRRC race.  I could never get them to 'seat' on my original 
ARW Silverstones, so I mounted them on the THUNDER BOLT's PANASPORTS.  I only 
ran them two or three times.  They were much stickier, and hence MUCH faster. 
 

I traded them to DON BRICK for a pair of used DUNLOPS.  BRICK loves the 
HOOSIERS, and now catches and passes me (in a milder prepared car).  Of 
course, he's a better driver.
