I doubt that many bearings sold commercially in the USA are Trimetal these
days. The gov is getting really weird about lead. If current trends continue
it could be hard to buy solder soon. Must be residual guilt over all the TEL
deposited in the environment over the last 70 years.

Not all clevite bearings are tri-metal. Bought a set for my triumph and they
were aluminium.
