The Madison Sports Car Club, for their 50th anniversary is hosting a dinner
and presentation by Sir Stirling Moss.
I just recieved the following letter from the club and would like to forward
it on to anyone in the wisconsin / illinois area that might be interested in
attending.
There are still seats available, both for madison club members, and
non-members. This will probably be a once in a lifetime opportunity for those
of us in this area, so I wanted everyone to have a chance to be there.
If anyone could forward this to any other groups or individuals that might be
interested, I would appreciate it.

We hope you have already received your personal invitation to the Madison
Sports Car Club's Evening with Sir Stirling Moss on January 29th at Monona
Terrace in Madison, WI. We don't want any MC members to miss this rare
opportunity to visit with one of racing's most unique drivers.
The banquet will be at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, a beautiful Frank
Lloyd Wright designed facility on Lake Monona. This upscale location will
serve as the perfect backdrop for visiting with one of racing's true legends.
There will be an afternoon autograph session, an elegant sit down dinner, the
program featuring Sir Stirling and a second autograph session if needed after
his presentation. Numbered limited edition prints featuring Sir Stirling in
his Mille Miglia Mercedes will be available for purchase and can be signed by
him as well. So that all may be accommodated, we are limiting the attendance
for the event. To assure good viewing for attendees we will have video cameras
and large screens so all seats will have a great view.
Without a doubt, this is an opportunity that few others will ever enjoy. Sir
Stirling Moss is a true legend in motorsports history. His racing
accomplishments have earned him the title of Englands Driver of the Century as
well as being Knighted by the Queen. We hope that you will join us for this
rare occasion that promises an experience never to be forgotten as well as the
opportunity for a limited edition print signed by Stirling not be available
anywhere else.
Since seating is limited, we encourage you to sign up as quickly as possible to
reserve your spot. Already individuals from New York, Pennsylvania and
Missouri will be making their way to this event - we don't want any of our
fellow MC members to miss this once in a lifetime event!
