To those who race at Road America,
On the way to the SVRA event this past weekend, I noticed a sign
advertising "race fuel" at the TriPar gas station on Highway 57 just
north of county "K", west side of 57. Random Lake is the adjacent
community. This is approximately 20 minutes south of the track. I
stopped on the way back and found that they sell "Rockett Brand 111"
racing fuel - with a 110 octane rating. Price: $3.89/gal. They claim
that this formulation is used for normally aspirated engines with CR's
as high as 16:1. Very convenient for the next run at RA!
