And with regard to the Allard, Carol Shelby once said, "Where do you
think I got the idea (for the Cobra)". Allard is the grandfather of all
the British cars with American V8s, and since Zora Duntov worked for
Allard and drove them a Lemans, it probably had a big influence on the
Corvette as well.
