The only time I have found it is beneficial to run tubes in tires is if you
run solo II. It helps to keep the heat in the tires between runs. I found
this out when I started running the Pro Solo series. Most of the fast guys
had tubes and it was easy to spot if you looked at their valve stems. It
seemed to make only a little difference but all those little things add up.
