Don't worry... I'm going to build two manifolds for BOTH setups... just got the
cars (TR6-GT6-Spitfire) situated yesterday. I think I'll send my SU's to Joe
Curto... isn't that his name... the king of SU's? I've got the receipt where
Bob
Davis had them built years back. I'm going to ask him about the miss-matched
jet
issue and see if I can get a selection of needles and jets that I can play with.
I have to say,with deep sincerity, your commitment to our marque and your
patience and guidance (and loaner parts) with everyone in our little Texas
Triumph F.o.T. camp at T.W.S. last weekend was very much appreciated. It kind
of
reminded me of a dad hoovering over all his kids making sure our bicycles were
safe and our wheels wouldn't fall off.
Although I didn't get in but two laps this past weekend fiddling with
carburetors once again, the camaraderie and the friendships built and lasting,
truly is as much fun and enjoyment as the actual racing.
