Metal-on-Metal makes the most sense but you need a lathe and a steady hand. T=
he reason Metal-on-Metal is best is because your distributor ground is throu=
gh the pedestal. If you use a gasket or rtv the ground contact us reduced. T=
he studs and nuts don=E2=80=99t always do the job. I install a separate grou=
nd wire. Note that ground is just as important for the Pertronix style syste=
m as it is for points.
