I agree, cornhead grease (=E2=80=9Ccornhead=E2=80=9D is that scary-lookin=
g harvesting mechanism on the front of a combine), a.k.a. semi liquid gre=
ase or self-leveling grease, is the thing to use.=C2=A0=C2=A0I had a Morg=
an steering box that constantly dripped and the self-leveling grease (whi=
ch you ought to be able to buy at Tractor Supply Company or any agricultu=
ral equipment supplier) took care of that.

&=23160; If you have a really good brake shop near you, make sure to have=
the drums trued and have the new shoes arced (matched) to the drums. Thi=
s will save many headaches in getting the thing to stop without pulling y=
ou into the ditch or oncoming traffic.&=23160; Also on the subject of bra=
kes, if you are going to put in new wheel cylinders, no matter who you ge=
t them from, they all come from China, disassemble them and make sure tha=
t the seals are proper lubed with a brake assembly lube, and make sure th=
at the hydraulic line port and the bleeder port are actually drilled all =
the way through.&=23160; Really, this is a thing.&=23160; I have had seve=
ral wheel cylinders from big name =E2=80=9Creputable=E2=80=9D manufacture=
rs that have not had the ports properly drilled through the casting, or h=
ad the bleeder screw seating surface not be concentric with the threads f=
or the screw.&=23160; It=E2=80=99s much easier to check them first, than =
after you have them on the car and all the shoes/linkages attached.</div>=
