Yep, MGs are lighter and I think they have a tiny advantage on tight =
corners.

But Triumphs do better from my experience.

My TR4 with 88mm bore is doing quite well and is on most cases faster =
than a MG.

I see the same thing here with good Mg's quicker than the TR-4 cars.  =
EXCEPT we have a couple TR-4's that are better prepared with the engine =
(bigger) and they are much better than the M.G.'s.  I also think  the =
MG's are  a lot lighter in weight for all seem very quick out of a =
corner. I also think that the MG engine is a lot better design to start =
with than thee TR-4 engine.  Way back in years I built MG engines and =
they were excellent in using high revs and very reliable.


Never be beaten by equipment.

What power do they make?

Here in Europe MGs are in the 160Hp range, while TR 4s are about 175-190 =
Hp range.
