Don,
There are many very strong & differing opinions on the unleaded
conversion subject.
In my opinion, conversion of the head for unleaded gas is a complete
waste of money. Especially installing special valve seat inserts. It
would be fine to replace the exhaust valves with something a little
better while the head is off. Definitely check & repair valve guides if
needed. Also check valve spring lengths/tensions & replace if out of spec.
