Hi, Barry -

I used Permatex #9A non-hardening sealant, which is impervious to oil and
gasoline.  I smeared it on both sides of the washer and under the bolt head.
Hylomar would probably work as well.

  Looks like I have an oil leak around the bolt on the middle and rear
  lifter access panels.  The Cu washers are there but original. Other than
  new washers what other methods might be used to stop the leak. .  This
