Listers,
Anyone have a source for copper-faced exhaust manifold to downpipe
flange gaskets? The Usual Suspects only sell one that appears to be
a black fibrous material sandwiched between some thin, perforated sheet
metal. They blow out after a few thousand miles and I'm getting tired
of changing these gaskets.
BTW, this is probably the cause of my exhaust backfiring problem. Will
know for sure when I pull the downpipes.
