Rick -

The splash apron on the 100 is fixed to the shroud..
the piping goes between the shroud and the splash
apron.  The splash apron on the six cylinder cars is
mounted about an inch in front of the shroud.  Hope
that clears things up.  By the way, the splash apron
set up on the 100 (i.e. BN1/BN2) is WAY better than
the apron set up on the 6 cylinders... although it
results in more damage in a front end accident.
