I spent about $3K doing the assembly myself. The
excel file attached is a few years old. There are
three tabs - an initial order ($1.8K), a follow up
($.3K) and maching work about $1K.
There are some extras in the pot, but it also excludes
rocker shaft and cam work. If I was budgeting, $3.5K
would be a good number if you are willing to get
dirty. I don't know what a shop would charge, but it
won't be less...
