I appreciate the input, perhaps I should have mentioned that I plan to sell
my car after I get all the little things corrected, so cost is a factor to
me. I just want a decent tire to replace the 20 year old Michelins that are
on there.
I plan to finish the suspension and tune it up and drive it while I finish
the interior. I just completed the trunk liner install (a kit I had for 8
years in the garage) and it looks great. I've had my car for 15 years, and
driven it precious little, and now have a 4 year old, and a 4 month old and
I realize I'm not the one who is going to finish this car. But I do want to
want to get it running top notch and drive it while I tart it up.

Oh, I plan to take the money I make on the Healey sale and invest it and
then buy one that is already restored...sound like a good plan? :)
