Jim -

Any sort of relatively constant shimmy or shake at 55
- 65 mph usually indicates that you have bad shock
absorbers on the front of your car and the wheel is
bouncing up and down on the road because there is no
damping affect from the shocks.  Replace your front
Shocks.
