Come on, guys!!! there are no details given. Where does it fit in the run? what
are the numbers? Do they match? Where has it come from? And that colour, is that
just my screen or is it really that shade?!!
For that much I would want a care with a known history and probably some
significance, chassis and engine matching and probably a full service history or
a very good wadge of bills to prove it has been properly cared for. What on
earth makes it worth USD 65k, other than greed?
You could buy a BJ8 over here for much less and in pretty good nick with a
decent history, ship it across and still have plenty of change. Of course prices
go higher for some cars with known race histories and good pedigrees. But when
Pat Moss's works Healey was sold in the UK it only fetched about GBP 75k if I
recall, at the time about USD 120k
Woudln't touch it with a bargepole.
