bt7doorlatches

Any info on adjusting door latches on a bt7. Both door post strikers
have been replaced and after several attempts have been adjusted all the
way inward towards the interior, Locks have been shimmed twice, and
still continue to have a closure gap about the thickness of the door
skin nothing seems to alter the gap. I guess the next step is to replace
the door latches themselves? Any info would be appreciated.  Kurt L.
