While I have my rad out being restored, I was thinking of re-painting my
fan blades. The Concours Guidelines state that a good approximation to
the medium yellow used on later 3000s was Plasti-Cote "Caterpillar
Yellow".
I just phoned my local Plasti-Cote dealer, and they have a "New
Caterpillar Yellow", which begs the question, "Was there an old or
original Caterpillar Yellow?"
Anyone know if Plasti-Cote's "New Caterpillar Yellow" and "Caterpillar
Yellow" are the same?
