That could be done by changing the master cylinder and slave cylinder
to a different bore. Also you can move the position the push rod
attaches to the pedal up about 1/2 " . This will change the ratio of
the pedal from approximatly 3.6:1 to 4.75:1.
We had a Healey come in the shop one time that the brake hoses were
swelling up when you pressed on the brake pedal and there was a soft
pedal. No matter what we did we could not get a good brake pedal. We
then found that someone had moved the push rod attachment point
increasing the pressure in the system.
