 Visually the wire wheels are indistiguishable. It seems the general
consensus on the list is Daytons are a little better, and if you get them 60
or 72 spokes they can be run without tubes if properly prepped by someone
like Hendrix Wire Wheels. Dunlops these days are also very good, but I don't
know about the ability to go tubless.
