Boy! Talk about a problem! I assume you don't want to destroy anything
in the process? Have you considered taking it to a machine shop for
removal? If you want to DIY I guess a Dremel tool with a very small
pointed grinding wheel might work. You have to get down to a point where
the shoulder of the head that you ground off is removed. The last resort
would be to set the MIG welder to the lowest setting and place a strip
of metal having a small hole in it over the remaining part of the screw.
Carefully fill the hole with weld in the hope that heat will free the
screw and the weld will hold so the screw can be removed. Can't promise
that the chrome plating will stand up to the heat!!
