Wheel size

Listers,

I have what I believe are the orignial 60 spoke painted wire wheels on my 63 
BJ7.

How do I determine what the wheel size is to order new tires?  Is there a way 
to measure them?

What were the original size tires for the 60 spoke wheels?  

What are the suggested sizes for this wheel without mounting or clearance 
problems?

What is the maximum size tire that is suggested for the car and or wheels.

I will need tires as the weather here begins to warm up.
