Yep. I make my living writing software for the medical industry but I don't
have any patience for arrogant doctors or staff. My biggest gripe is
waiting and waiting for an appointment. I'm talking about the docs that
make this a habit. There are a lot of docs out there that start scheduling
patients at 8:00 in the morning and they don't show up at the office until
8:30 or 9:00. So they start their day behind schedule. I have a rule that
I'll wait 10 or maybe 15 minutes tops past my scheduled appointment time and
then, unless I'm bleeding, I'm out of there. I don't like the attitude that
there time is valuable and mine isn't.

My favorite is when the insurance company doesn't pay because the charges
are not 'reasonable and customary'. Then the doctors office wants me to
pay. Well...if the experts at the insurance company have decided that they
aren't 'reasonable or customary', why should I have to pay the difference???
I've gotten to where I shop around for prices.
