Lempert Steering Wheel

I may get one of his steering wheels for my BJ8. One of the choices to make
is wheel diameter. My present wheel is 16" but it is difficult to spin back
and forth in a gymkana (I almost think a "neckers knob" would be the thing
to have for that type of racing). Would a 15" wheel be easier to use?
