Dave,
I know when I removed mine it came off just as you describe. I am use
to using pullers and was surprised as well. Trying to put that Pro-race
balancer on was another story and I don't expect it to be coming off any
time soon.

Subject: harmonic balancer question

I was removing the harmonic balancer the other day and noticed that it
came off pretty easily. I was able to pull it off by hand. Is this
normal?
No signs of abnormal wear on any surfaces. Damper seems fine -
visually. There was no play in it when it was installed. No unusual
noises.
Thanks for any info.

Dave
