I use a two part epoxy called PC-7 to repair cracks in the steering wheel, it
should also work with the traficator. I also have some spare parts from a used
traficator, perhaps send photos to see what you need. I also agree with the
comment that was made not to paint the bakelite, I first wash it thoroughly
with mild soap and hot water, then sand it lightly with 1000 paper, I then
apply India ink, let it dry then I apply shoe polish and polish it. I then
finish it with a good car wax and it looks just like new, not too shiny and
unlike the paint it won't flake off.
