This nevertheless requires both solenoids to be operational  in order for the 
reduction starter to work, doubling your chances of  failure.  Take Alan's 
first recommendation and do away  with the original solenoid entirely or if you 
want to keep it for  appearances' sake then pull all wires to one post.
