[Healeys] Removing BJ8 speedometer

I need to send the speedometer for my 67 BJ8 in for repair.  I was able to
remove it except for the 2 wires, which I assume are for the panel lights.  I
am unable to figure out how to remove those wires.  Can anyone tell me how to
do it?  Thanks.
