will solve you problem   .. see Throttle spring - washer ... it's also in my
Tech Talk book page 244  and in Healey Marque Magazine Nov 2005 ... Norman

I need to place the carburetors back on my BN1 but I am not sure exactly how
the throttle linkage goes back on.Specifically,I need to know
