I did the maths. To get the $4,500 dollars for my daily driver (a 2002
Ford Explorer) I'd have to trade it in for a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid.
Not only would it be a smaller, less optioned car, but it'd cost me an
additional $25,000 to own said vehicle that I don't want over the
lifespan through 2019.

Pretty stupid.
