"Trailer swaying back and forth" is most likely not enough tongue weight.

Subject: [Healeys] List

To all,

I am located in south central Kentucky, about 100 miles south of Lexington
and about 100 miles north of Knoxville, TN.

I just met a couple trailering a "59 Sprite to Florida. He was having
trouble with the trailer swaying back and forth and stopped at a small gas
station, near where I live, for a possible fix. The trailer is just large
enough to hold the Sprite. I have never trailered a Sprite or my Healey for
that matter so I could not offer advice on what to do.

The car was his father's and it is now his. It must be totally restored
although the car looks basically rust free from what I could see.

I am emailing him my address. I have told him that if he has trouble on the
way to Florida, email or call me and I will pass the info to the list.

I gave him the address of the list to join.

Please be on the look out for the car being pulled by a charcoal gray van
with the family in it.

Thanks all,

Fred
