I have a Bugeye that I have replaced all the front and rear rubber includin=
g the master cylinder. New calipers on front and new rear drums=2C springs=
=2C cylinders=2Cetc.=2Cetc. New rubber in clutch slave. After bleeding usin=
g the two-man method I still am not satisfied with the pedal feel. It still=
depresses about half way down although the stopping power is pretty good. =
Is it possibleto get a really hard brake pedal in this car? Is there any su=
re-fire way to bleed all the air out of the lines?

the workshop floor.....
&gt=3B
&gt=3B 2) Imagine that you're l=

lds and the head).
&gt=3B
&gt=3B 3) The top RHS &amp=3B LHS stu=

Well=2C mine aren't the same thickness. The exhaust manifold has been groun=
d
&gt=3B down at the tip/corner which is covered by the washer under the=
bolt.
&gt=3B (Presumably in the manufacturing process.) First time I p=
ut the 6 branch
&gt=3B on=2C it was fine for about 1=2C000 miles then it=
started to blow under that
&gt=3B bolt/washer. (Cooking the temperature=
sender pipe=2C but otherwise just a
&gt=3B little noise. Nothing seriou=
s).
&gt=3B
&gt=3B I took off the rear carb and leant the exhaust awa=
y from the engine.
&gt=3B
&gt=3B I then sliced off the section off t=
he gasket which covered that area and
&gt=3B replaced it with a portion =
off a new gasket.
&gt=3B
&gt=3B I put a half washer (shim?) under th=
e main washer on the exhaust side of
&gt=3B that stud. This took up the =
difference in width and all was well.
&gt=3B
&gt=3B
&gt=3B
=
&gt=3B Now=2C I have it all on the floor and am looking for a better fix. S=
