I bought a similar product at a Flea Market several years ago. The seller was
welding /brazing aluminum pop cans. It takes a good bit of practice to do
anything with these and I never was able to use it for my intended shroud
repair. Cleanliness is extremely important.

Interesting video. However, a Healey generator bracket is NOT aluminum.
More importantly, can this stuff really work on Healey aluminum shroud repair.
Has anyone on this list actually used this stuff? I have a TIG welder and have
done extensive repair work on shrouds. It is very tricky work and this video
makes it look almost too easy with their miracle product..

I have broken mounting tabs on both front and rear end plates of my

BN-1 generator. I want to send it out for a complete rebuild. What is

the best way to deal with the broken end plates? Anyone have a burned

up generator they want to sell the end plates off of?, or how about a

complete rebuildable four cylinder generator. What is the wisdom of

the list?

Thanks
