Hello Reinhart,

That's why all BN1/2 windscreen assemblies were numbered, both the chrome
foot and the corresponding side post should have the same number because
they were very much hand fitted from new, and then numbered to keep them
together.  They can be made to fit, but sometimes not without quite a bit
of fiddling.

The numbers were unique to the windscreens, and the numbers left and right
were different but somewhat similar, however they matched top and bottom.
My car has its original windscreen, and is numbered C97 (top and bottom) on
the left and C87 (top and bottom) on the right.
